How do I attach the wall holder?Updated 16 days ago
We offer two options for hanging your wall holder: (1) the suction cup and (2) the wall sticker. Both of these will be included in orders containing a handle.
Both the suction cup and wall sticker should be applied to smooth surfaces like glass, mirrors, or bathroom tiles — just make sure that the surface is smooth.
- If you'd like to use the suction cup, we recommend that you moisten the suction cup lightly with water before attaching it. Press it against the tile or mirror and press it firmly for 10–15 seconds. Lastly, wait a while (at least 30 minutes) before placing your Estrid in it.
- If you decide to use the sticker, please read the following steps before attaching it to the wall mount:
- Make sure that the suction cup is not attached already, as the adhesive should not be attached to the suction cup. If you need to remove the suction cup, push it upwards toward the bigger hole on the backside until it is loose, and you can take it out.
- Clean the backside of the wall mount to make sure it’s dry and oil-free.
- Peel the sticker from the paper and press the sticky side onto the back of the wall mount. Apply some pressure and make sure the sticker is properly attached.
- Clean the area of the tile or mirror you would like to attach the wall holder, and make sure it’s dry.
- Carefully peel off the paper layer on top of the sticker. Be careful not to remove the sticker with it.
- Press the wall mount with the arrow facing upwards on your chosen area, and hold firmly for 10–15 seconds.
- Wait at least an hour before placing the razor on the holder
We do not recommend using the wall sticker on sensitive surfaces that might peel when removing the sticker, like wallpaper.
When you want to remove the sticker, the easiest method is to twist the wall-mount clockwise with the handle still in it. Any residue left behind can be peeled off or removed with some dish soap.
